And it didn't go terribly! I count this as a huge success, I know roughly where I'd like the story to go next and know what I'd like to do with the stats to make things more entertaining all round.

Success!

I thought you handled being part one of a two-parter very well - we got clear messages about what was to come next, without making it sound so urgent that the party felt like they had to go complete Part Two right now. Even though we didn't save Archer, I feel like we found out important stuff and it was 'okay' for the patrol to stop at that point, rather than it being forced. Giving us a reason to go back to the forts after Archer was useful for confirming that it was the right choice.

I should definitely also credit Emma for helping make that work well - Pro had the right blend of pragmatism and explaining future plans to make the rest of the patrol willingly go along and not try to insist we destroy the Bloom today.

Glad to hear it. Trying to find reasons to make sure that you didn't all decide that now was the time to go for the kill on the Bloom was really difficult when planning. God leadership definitely helped this game :)

Huzzah! Sounds like it all went very well - hopefully I will be around in some capacity for the next one :)

(And I still don't count the 36hr as 'terribly' myself.)
